Nyack Smiles is a comprehensive general dentistry practice for Rockland families and the surrounding communities. Led by Jacob Wallach, DDS, our dental office is about 15 minutes from New City, NY, located in historic downtown Nyack along the Hudson River.

What to expect during your dental visit

Dental appointments at Nyack Smiles are different than most other dental visits. Dr. Wallach spends considerable time with each patient to fully examine not just the teeth, but the entire mouth, jaw joints, gums and other support structures. We look for signs of wear and instability which can contribute to cosmetic concerns, tooth pain and other dental problems. Solving the “why” allows Dr. Wallach to guarantee long lasting, natural looking results for his patients.

Our dental examination generally includes:

  • Dental x-rays
  • Periodontal screening (for gum disease)
  • Dental caries (cavities) screening
  • Oral cancer screening
  • Occlusal analysis including examination of the TMJ and jaw position

Dental Insurance and Payment Options

You should not avoid visiting the dentist because you believe you cannot afford treatment. We work with insurance carriers to maximize your benefits. We file claims on your behalf so you receive direct reimbursement from the insurance company.
