To start, Dr. Wallach will remove any existing crowns or fillings and prepare the tooth for the new tooth crown, removing as little tooth structure as necessary to ensure a stable fit. He will select the best material for your restoration and may place a temporary dental crown to protect your tooth while the new crown is being made.
Once the permanent dental crown has arrived from the laboratory, Dr. Wallach will have the patient “try it on” for fit and color. He will make any minor adjustments in the office before securing the crown with a special adhesive.
